The purpose of the register

We use the personal data we collect for customer relationship purposes, such as sales, order and customer relationship management, warehousing or other services provided by our company. We process our customers’ data mainly on the basis of a contract or with the customer’s separate consent, or based on compliance with legal obligations or the legitimate interests of the controller in relation to the customer relationship. Website visitor data is processed for purposes such as data security and the collection of statistics on website visitors, based on the visitor’s consent, for example by accepting cookies.

Data is collected from the individual or from registers held by public authorities within the limits allowed by law (e.g. ytj.fi). Data is also collected using the Google Analytics analytics tool.

As a rule, data is not disclosed outside the company. Some of the third-party service or software providers used by the company may store data outside the EU or the European Economic Area.

Data subjects’ rights


The data subject has the right to check what data concerning him or her has been stored in the personal data register. The written request for inspection must be signed and sent to the person responsible for the register. The right of inspection is free of charge and is exercised no more than once a year. The data subject has the right to request the rectification or erasure of inaccurate or outdated data or the transfer of data from one system to another. They also have the right to restrict or object to the processing of their data in accordance with Articles 18 and 21 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation.

Data subjects have the right to withdraw their prior consent to the processing of their data or to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority about the processing of their personal data. Data subjects also have the right to object to the use of their data for direct marketing purposes.
